Hi food lovers, sorry it may seem like I’ve been neglecting this little blog lately, but I’ve been working my butt off for the last few weeks so I can be worry-free and work-free when I go on some exciting upcoming journeys!
The excitement will kick off with a wedding celebration in Waikiki, Oahu, at one of the most beautiful beachfront resort. Can’t wait to watch the sunset from the terrace with a Mai Tai in hand. (Photos from Halekulani)
Then I’m off to Italy on tour with one of the choirs that I work with. Joe and I had such a blast last summer in Europe, and I’m so blessed to get this opportunity this summer to explore Italy further- Rome, Assisi, Orvieto, Siena, Pisa, and Florence. The choir is performing in various cathedrals, the most special one would be singing and participating in a mass at the St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City! And yes, I’ll be having gelato multiple times everyday and gorging on pastas and savoring every sip of Italian espressos! Food and music together in one trip, perfetto!
But this is not the end of my summer journey. I’ll be heading to Indonesia to attend another wedding. Lots of sun-bathing, beach sports, spa services, and tropical eats. Maybe finally trying some Kopi Luwak coffee!
Some shots of the villa we’ll be staying at in Bali.
And a cooking class our group will attend, completed with visits to produce and fish markets at 6am in the morning.
Also spending a few days in paradise, an eco-resort at one of the islands in the Pulau Seribu (Thousand Islands). This will be where I sleep, open bungalow next to the ocean.
A quick stop to Singapore. Looking forward to all the delicious food at every corner, perhaps a night safari at the world-renowned zoo and a cable car ride to the Sentosa Island.
