A little wonderful surprise was that if everyone in the party ordered the afternoon tea service, then you are allowed to get seconds of sandwiches, scones, and refill on tea, free of charge. We were actually pretty full after scarfing down everything, but we HAD to get seconds on the ham and smoked salmon sandwiches, also those buttery scones. They were just too good! Overall, expensive but worth it. Service was very friendly while formal, the food was delicate and delicious. A very relaxing and tasty experience! We must’ve lounged on those comfy couches for almost 2 hours.
The tea lounge is open 10am to 10pm, but the classic English tea service is only from 2:30-5pm, reservation is highly recommended. $40 for the tea service, $58 for Veuve Clicquot champagne tea service. You can also order a la carte items all day, even during the tea service hours. Besides a list of tea selections, I spotted “chocolate bento” ($24) and “miniature cupcake bento” ($22), which are basically a selection of 4 slices of cake or cupcakes. They also offer pastries, macarons, and fruit platters.
